Humble Beginnings...
Aaron grew up on the family farm in Independence Oregon. At age 5 he was driving the family tractor, by 7, everything else. Be it large equipment, cars, trucks or motorcycles it didn't seem to matter. If it had an engine, it was fair game. While driving or riding was fun, it wasn't enough. Aaron also needed to know how, and what, made these things operate. With no formal training Aaron began tearing apart just about anything he could get his hands on. Sometimes at the peril of some strict country discipline!
By age 9, driving anything that had keys (some that did not) and going for a rip session around the farm, and nearby gravel roads, was a favorite pastime for Aaron and friends. Freshly laid hay fields proved a particularly great place to practice the art of drifting. Of course, back then simply called "power sliding". If they had only learned to clean the hanging grass form underneath, then perhaps some of that "country discipline" from the folks wouldn't have been so bad!

Fast forward and Aaron found himself racing motorcross at the local tracks. This was his first introduction to true competition, where mechanical skills, combined with practice and mental concentration were needed to be competitive. It was from that foundation that the desire to build and race cars was born. From Drag Racing to NASCAR to SCCA and all things in between, 40 years later he is still going strong building, testing, and racing cars. All this, and on the same family farm where it all began.
